Place sliced apples in shallow baking dish greased with about ½ tsp butter.
Combine dry ingredients for topping in medium bowl. Mix well then add melted butter stir until crumbly.
Sprinkle crumb mixture on top of apples.
Bake for 30 min until the apples are tender.
Notes
I usually use salted butter, if not add an extra 1/2 tsp of salt to the topping. I don't usually measure the lemon juice but just squirt some on top of the apples. For a baking dish I use my large 2.5 L corningware baking dish, perfect size.
