In Memory of My Sweet Kitty
We had to put our sweet kitty to sleep today. She was diagnosed with multiple myeloma last October and did quite well with treatment up until a few weeks ago when her liver started failing. She is at peace now, but we humans and her cat sister, will miss her terribly.
She loved belly rubs, nuzzling in my hair after a shower when it was still damp, begging for treats ( she could shake a paw, high five and sit up for them :)) and looking out the screen of the sliding glass door to watch bugs, birds and whatever creatures came up on the deck. She was a very anxious kitty and would rarely come out of hiding when anyone else was in the house, however she would jump on and “play” with her sister until she would get angry and hiss that she had enough. She never used her claws (except on furniture…) or bit at all and had a lovely temperament. Not much of a lap cat but would sit next to me like a gargoyle and beg for treats with a gentle swat to my arm. Her favorite places to sit where on or in boxes where she would hang her head over the edge and frequently cause herself to gag. She just couldn’t seem to figure that out, LOL.
Rest in peace sweet girl 🙁
