Sunnyvale Water Pollution Control Plant (Winter -Spring 2001)

I know what you are thinking… Who wants to hike/walk/birdwatch at a water treatment plant. I felt the same say before I went and saw all the marvelous birds and trails though the bay. It was so close to where we lived that it quickly became a favorite place to go. Check out this link for a great write up on birds to see. Here is some of what we have seen in winter-spring 2001.     I got this for Christmas from my son and now can’t wait until spring to get here so I can put it to good use. I’ll have to pay more attention to the leaves and how they are arranged on the plant so I can make better identifications. I’d been using the Seek app on my phone but it isn’t entirely accurate, but certainly a good starting place. I like the step by step method of identification but would love some more color pictures.
