Almond Spritz Cookies

- 1 Spritz gun
Ingredients
- 1 cup unsalted butter softened
- ¾ cup granulated sugar
- 1 large egg
- ¾ tsp almond extract
- ½ tsp salt
- 2 cups flour
- ¼ cup almond flour
- decorative sugar or sprinkles for decorating
Instructions
- Heat oven to 350℉. Using a stand mixer, beat the butter and sugar on medium speed until light and fluffy, 2-3 minutes. Reduce speed to low, add the egg and almond extract, and mix until well-combined and smooth.
- With the speed still on low, gradually add both flours and salt until just incorporated
- Fill a cookie press with dough and press or pipe the dough onto ungreased cookie sheets, leaving about 1 inch between cookies. Sprinkle with decorative sugar.
- Bake until firm to the touch and golden brown on the edges 12-14 minutes. Remove to cool on a wire rack.
