Banana Oatmeal Almond Smoothie

Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons rolled oats
- 1 cup ice cubes
- 1 cup milk
- ½ teaspoon almond extract
- 1 ripe banana sliced
- 1 tablespoon almond butter
- 1 teaspoon agave nectar
- 1 teaspoon chia seeds
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
Instructions
- Combine the rolled oats and chia seeds with milk in container for blender in refrigerator overnight
- Place all of the remaining ingredients in with milk mixture and blend at high speed for 1 minute. Serve at once.
Notes
Original recipe uses almond milk, frozen bananas and vanilla instead of almond extract and no cinnamon. Almond milk is fine but I don’t usually buy it, milk works fine for me. Â
