Mom’s Coffee Cake
This was from a recipe card that I copied from my mother. I’m not sure where she got it from but we all loved it. Quite tasty and easy to make

Delicious cake from my mother-in-law. Brown sugar, cinnamon and apples layered between a coffee cake like batter, then drizzled with a brown sugar sauce. Perfect fall dessert!
I got this recipe from my real estate agent, Joyce Weiner, when we moved to Massachusetts. She gave us a loaf after closing and my son loved it. According to her, she got the recipe from one of the farmer’s wives when she went on a covered wagon trip in Kansas in the 1970’s. She enhanced it by adding the chocolate chips 🙂
Delicious and easy to make. Loaded with blueberries and a drizzled glaze, it’s a tasty snack or an easy breakfast.
An old recipe that I got from my mother. I modified it by doubling the topping 🙂
Perfect solution to overripe bananas and full of healthy bran and nuts, which makes it not only tasty but high in fiber too!
