Mom’s Fruit Salad

Mom would always make this for special holidays and we all loved it. Here's my modification of it.

Ingredients
  

  • 2 apples peeled, cored, cut in bite sized pieces
  • 2 navel oranges halved and segments removed
  • ½ red grapefruit segments removed
  • 1 banana peeled, sliced
  • 1 15 oz canned peaches cut in bite sized pieces
  • 1 15 oz canned pears cut in bite sized pieces
  • 1 small bunch red seedless grapes halved

Instructions
 

  • Combine all the fruit together (except bananas) with any juices from the canned fruit and squeezed excess juice from oranges and grapefruit.
  • Add bananas just before serving to keep from browning.

Notes

I’ve also made it, adding some chopped walnuts which is also good.
