Greek Lamb Meatballs
Ingredients
- 1 lb ground lamb
- 1 small red onion finely chopped
- 3 cloves garlic minced
- 2 tsp parsley finely chopped
- 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
- 2 tsp salt
- ½ tsp pepper
- ½ tsp cumin
- ½ tsp oregano dried
- ½ tsp dill
- ¼ tsp mint
- 1 small lemon zest grated
- 1 large egg
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400 ℉
- In a bowl mix together meat, onion, garlic, breadcrumbs, spices and egg. Use your hands to combine well. Set aside for 5 minutes.
- Divide the mixture into 20 small balls and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Turn broiler on low and place rack at highest position. Bake for 7 minutes, then flip the meatballs over then bake for another 7 minutes until browned and cooked through.
