I got this recipe from my real estate agent, Joyce Weiner, when we moved to Massachusetts. She gave us a loaf after closing and my son loved it. According to her, she got the recipe from one of the farmer’s wives when she went on a covered wagon trip in Kansas in the 1970’s. She enhanced it by adding the chocolate chips 🙂
Delicious and easy to make. Loaded with blueberries and a drizzled glaze, it’s a tasty snack or an easy breakfast.
This recipe used to be able to be found here – Shanghai Stir-Fried Beef & Broccoli. But it appears that Finecooking site is either down or gone 🙁 It seems to have been replaced by Food & Wine, which I am not a fan of, and all my saved recipes are now gone, ugh. I will be adding them as I make them!
